Start by making pigtails, either with a zig zag or straight part, whichever you prefer. On the last pull-through the elastic, don't pull all the way through and leave a little loop of hair. Then, take the ends, twist them, and wrap around the stump. Secure the buns with another elastic and add some cute bows.
